Wait, are you new here? I wrote these blog posts to help you out in your biz:

Whether you are launching your very first site or switching over, here are five amazing perks that you get when you sign up with Squarespace:

1.A free domain name for a year

Forget having to buy your domain with a third party provider like Godaddy or Bluehost! You can get your domain for free when you sign up for the annual plan with Squarespace.

All Squarespace domains (meaning you bought it through Squarespace or transferred it over) are hosted by their registrar, Tucows, and managed through your Squarespace site.

Even if you’re transferring your domain name you still get the perks of a free domain for a year. Once you begin the transferring process you will get an email by Squarespace saying something along the lines of:

We will extend registration by one year upon completion of the transfer…. To maintain uninterrupted service, your domain will be set to continuous auto-renewal payments of $20.00 per year. We’ll process your next payment on __. You can disable auto-renew at any time from your Billing panel.

2. Free g-suite for a year

As a business owner, you want to look professional, right? Well, one of the worst ways to not look professional is by having a or email. I’m not sure if it’s just me but anytime I get an email from a business and I see instead of I get skeptical. Like is this a legit business or not?

Well, with Squarespace you get a whole year’s worth of professional Gmail heaven when you sign up for their annual plan! You are literally saving $50 just by choosing Squarespace as your web host!

Like everything, there are some prerequisites. According to Squarespace:

  • You must have a trial site, paid site, or parking page on Squarespace 7. G Suite isn’t available on Squarespace 5 sites.

  • You must have at least one custom domain for your site. You can use a Squarespace Domain or a third-party domain.

  • You must live in a supported country.

  • Your domain can't have an existing G Suite or legacy Google Apps account.

  • You can't have another domain on your site connected to G Suite. All Squarespace plans are allowed one G Suite account per site

3. Free emerging entrepreneurs Acuity plan

“What time are you available? I am available Monday and Thursday from 8-4 pm. Wait for PST or EST? Oh, wait I thought you meant CST.”

Has that ever happened to you? Trying to schedule a call with someone through email is a task in itself but Squarespace has partnered with Acuity to help with all your client call bookings. Not only does it look more professional for you to use a dedicated booking system in your business but it saves you the headache of trying to do it through email.

You are able to set what day/times you are available and what time zone you are in! When a client goes to book an appointment/discovery call/consult with you Acuity adjusts your availability to their time zone so no more missed calls because of timezone miscommunication.

What if you are a business coach and charge per call? Acuity has you covered! You have the ability to set when a payment is required depending on what type of call is being scheduled.

You can also customize the colors on your acuity scheduler and add questions to be asked whenever someone books a call with you.

All of this comes for free through the Emerging Entrepreneur Acuity plan which would normally be  $15/month. Oh, and did I mention is not only free for a year but free for as long as you have your site!?

4. 24/7 support

If you’re like me then customer support is important to you. With Squarespace, you get 24/7 email support and live chat on weekdays from 3am-8pm (EST). This means that if you email Squarespace in the middle of the night because you’re a night owl like me then you should expect a response within the next hour.

5. A library of resources

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a library of resources that you can turn to when your, stuck on anything Squarespace related? That way you don't have to rely on endless forums talking about possible/probable/perhaps solutions to your questions?

Well, Squarespace has just that! They have video tutorials, guides, FAQ’s, and just endless resources to help you navigate your way through the backend of your site.
